Quality assurance and testing of castings

Independent quality control of every process is a matter of course.

  • Inspection of input raw materials
  • Inspection of pattern equipment
  • Dimensional inspection of castings including 3D scanning and 3D touch-probe measurement
  • Spectral chemical analysis on a SPECTROMAX instrument
  • Ultrasonic thickness measurement (UTT)
  • Penetrant testing (PT)
  • Non-destructive testing (X-ray, ultrasonic, magnetic)
  • Metallographic testing
  • Mechanical testing of tensile strength, elongation and hardness, notch toughness
  • Spectrometric analyses of chemical composition
  • Sand laboratory for analysis of moulding and core mixtures
